Unamed March 11, 2006 Red Dun Overo APHA Colt Temptations At Six X Unknown Pleasures Unfortantly we lost both Nina and her colt in March 2006. The story is very sad and we are heartbroken. Nina suffered an abdominal hernia on her foals due date. However he was not ready to be born. There was nothing we could do for Nina so we took her foal by C-section. We worked harder then I could ever have imagined over the next two weeks trying to save the foal. We did everything within our means but each time we made progress something else would come along. It finally became too many battles to fight and we found it best to not let the colt suffer any longer. He is now with his mother and they are both relieved of pain. Both are missed deeply. |
